I am so pleased that you have come to visit my site! I am so grateful to God for allowing me the opportunity to teach people about health, fitness and nutrition. He has placed a passion in my heart to pursue the fitness industry and to fight in the obesity epidemic which is plaguing our country! Here at my personal site,  my goal is to let you get to know me a little bit better and maybe offer a little inspiration and motivation to you at the same time! I believe that each and every one of us can choose to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle. I feel it is my duty as a competitor to lead by example, to help others find their ultimate motivation to improve their fitness and change their lives! I feel so blessed that this is the industry that God has placed me in, and I can only hope and pray that He will use me to help others care for the bodies He has provided us with!

I started competing in Figure in 2005. After talking about it and talking about it I finally decided that I needed to take some action! Through determination, discipline and dedication which God provided me with, I was blessed to become nationally qualified at my first competiton the NPC 2005 John Sherman Classic. I was blessed once again in 2006 when I placed first at the NPC 2006 Ronnie Coleman Classic and went on to compete in the NPC Jr. Nationals in Chicago. Becoming a successful competitor has led to many other doors being opened for me within the fitness industry. Since my last competition I have been blessed beyond belief, ultimately God has allowed me to pursue my dream of starting and running my own business, where I am able to educate and motivate others who are pursuing their own fitness goals. I have been blessed with my own fitness DVD, motivational website, fitness columns, media coverage not to mention all of the amazing people who have come into my life!

2007 was an amazing year, filled with blessings. I joined the WNSO and successfully attained my Pro Card with this awesome organization and even won my very first pro show at the FAME North American Championships. I feel like the Lord is leading my steps and I feel so privileged to be given the responsibility of acting as a fitness role model.I am so excited for 2008 and all of the possibilities that it holds. God placed my soul mate in my life in 2007 and I was engaged on January 1, 2008! I have also been led to sanction a show for the WNSO here in San Antonio and am praying that God will bless this event and use it for His glory! My faith, my family and fitness are the three most important things to me in this world, in that order. I know that as long as I keep my eyes lifted to God, understand that HE is in control of everything he will continue to guide my steps and allow me to pursue the passions which He has placed in my heart.<

Diana Chaloux Fun Facts!

*I joined the WNSO (World Natural Sports Organization in 2007, I won my Fitness Model Pro Card in October 2007 and went on to win my first Pro show in November 2007, claiming the title FAME Fitness Model Pro North American Champion 2007. My next competition will be in Toronto, Canada in June 2008 at the FAME World Championships.

*I placed first in my height class at the 2005 NPC John Sherman Classic as well as the 2006 Ronnie Coleman Classic. I am a nationally qualified figure competitor with the NPC. I also competed in the 2006 NPC Jr. Nationals.

*I co-founded my company Destined 2 Be Fit in February 2006

*One of my most fun moments was in 1998 when I went to California on spring break with some friends and ended up going on the Price Is Right and winning a car! I got to kiss Bob Barker and everything!
 
*My niece Wynter Aurora was born on October 18, 2006 to my sister Linda and my brother in law Scott. I am such a proud auntie, she is truly the light of my life!

*I ran for Miss Vermont USA in 2000, I was the 4th runner up and also won Miss Congeniality. Go figure;)

*I graduated from Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, VT where I received my BS in Business Administration

*I am a certified Personal Trainer through AFAA, ACE and Fitness Professionals International. I am also a Wellcoach certified fitness coach and  Lifestyle  Management Nutrition Manager. 

*I worked for a year as a fitness coordinator for Norwegian Cruise Lines onboard the beautiful Norwegian Sun. This was an awesome opportunity to meet people from all around the world, travel and work in fitness, which is my passion!

*I lived in Park City, UT, home of the Sundance Film Festival, for three years. This beautiful little ski town is an awesome place to enjoy the great outdoors and I even got to experience the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympics while I was living there!

*I have two beautiful sisters, Linda and Maria, I can't imagine life without them! My life is also blessed by my Mom and Dad who unconditionally love and support me no matter what crazy idea I get in my head to do!

*One of my goals was to be featured in Oxygen's Future of Fitness, I made this a goal of mine a couple years ago! My dream came true when I was featured in the June 2006 edition of Oxygen!

*I am a published Fitness Columnist for three different publications, two here in Texas and one in Vermont!

*I have been featured on the cover of SA FIT magazine, as well as the Fit Christians magazine and most recently the cover of FAME magazine.

*One of my favorite adventures was a 16 day road trip that I took across the country by myself. I started in Utah and wound my way through 22 states until I made my way back to Vermont! This was a truly liberating experience and I had control of the radio the entire trip!
